Shandong Sincere Building Materials Co., Ltd. recently completed the design, production, and shipment of a modular packaged container building project, which has departed from Qingdao Port bound for Indonesia. The project was custom developed for a major Indonesian energy enterprise to serve as staff dormitories for its subsidiary.
The complex comprises a total of 60 residential units, organized into three main sections: a main dormitory building, an auxiliary dormitory building, and a kitchen/dining unit. Additionally, four outdoor mobile toilet units are included.
Main Dormitory Building
A three story structure with a central corridor and enclosed dormitory rooms on both sides. Each floor is equipped with a dedicated bathroom facility containing four toilets and four showers. The building can accommodate up to 100 residents simultaneously.
Auxiliary Dormitory Building
Also three stories, featuring rooms on one side and an open corridor on the other. Each of the 15 rooms includes an independent bathroom, suitable for management staff and temporary guest accommodation.
Kitchen/Dining Unit
Designed with a ground floor parking area and a second floor kitchen and dining hall. The open layout dining area can seat 60–70 people at once.
The buildings utilize a flat pack integrated container system, a widely adopted solution for movable outdoor structures. All components—including pre assembled floor and roof panels, wall sections, doors, windows, electrical wiring, and accessories—are packed together into a single shipment unit, streamlining both logistics and on site assembly. The structure is reinforced with a high strength 3mm thick galvanized steel frame, providing the stability required for safe, multi story construction while maintaining cost effectiveness. This makes it an ideal housing choice for large scale projects such as construction sites and remote operational bases.
